The form should be returned back to the membership secretary or handed to a committee member for submission.Applicants must be 18 years and over.

There is an initial joining fee £15.00 and your annual membership fee is £55.00 payable upon joining. This is renewable by 31st March or before you play your first competition. Normally, two existing members would propose and second your application for membership. The Membership Secretary will invite you to an informal interview prior to consideration of your application and we may ask your proposer and seconder for a reference.
However, you may be new to the area and not know any of our members. In this instance, we will ask you for a letter of reference from a reputable third party or from your previous club if applicable.
Handicaps
Ayr Seafield Golf Club is affiliated to the Scottish Golf Union, the Ayrshire Golf Association and South Ayrshire Council. We award and amend handicaps in accordance with the rules of the Council of National Golf Unions (CONGU). If you do not have a current handicap, you will need to return three scorecards over Seafield golf course and in the company of at least one other member (i.e. your marker), to the Match Secretary. If you have a current handicap, your last club can provide us with a handicap certificate.

Competitions
Our summer and winter seasons run from middle of March to October and November to February respectively and you can play on Saturday or Sunday. We play a Summer League on a Wednesday between May and August over Seafield. We hold our summer competitions at Seafield, Belleisle, Dalmilling, Girvan, Lochgreen & Darley golf courses and we play team games against neighbouring clubs.

The closing date for entry to our weekly competitions is 9:30 p.m. on the Friday preceding play. You enter a competition by either adding your name to an existing group on the competition draw sheet or by obtaining a tee-off time from the starter and adding that time and your name to the draw sheet. During the summer season, competition scorecards must be returned immediately after play to McCabes Bar in Fullarton Street, Ayr. At this moment we do not have a clubhouse as there is extensive work being done around the buildings on the Belleisle estate.
